Iron bisglycinate is a chelated iron compound: The iron is bound to two glycine molecules, is absorbed as an intact chelate in the small intestine and is considered to be particularly stomach-friendly and highly bioavailable. Our capsules deliver 21 mg of pure iron per capsule - 150% of the reference value - in vegan HPMC capsule.

What iron does
Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin, the normal transport of oxygen in the body, the normal function of the immune system, normal cognitive function, normal energy metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.¹
